Job overview:

We are seeking a seasoned AI Leader with a strong consulting background to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. This role requires deep expertise in AI technologies, including machine learning and advanced analytics, to work closely with vendors, internal stakeholders, and technical teams. The primary objective is to ensure the successful evaluation, integration, and implementation of cutting-edge AI tools, ensuring that solutions align with business objectives.

The role is highly consultative, with a strong focus on understanding business requirements, evaluating potential technologies, and ensuring the delivery of scalable and effective solutions.​

Key Responsibilities:

• ​Act as a liaison between business units, technical teams, and external vendors, ensuring all stakeholders are aligned on project goals.

• Engage with business stakeholders to identify and gather AI requirements and translate them into technical deliverables.

• ​Advise on AI strategies, tools, and best practices to align with the organization’s goals.

• ​Work closely with vendors to assess their technology, implementation plans, and ensure alignment with business needs and technical architecture.

• ​Evaluate AI tools: Analyze and vet various AI and machine learning tools and technologies, comparing their strengths, weaknesses, and suitability for specific business cases.

• Vendor communication: Collaborate with external technology partners, critically assess their proposals, and ensure the implementation aligns with the organization’s objectives.

• Perform cost-benefit analysis of AI platforms, ensuring that they align with budget, timeline, and business needs.

• Propose new technologies: Stay updated on the latest advancements in AI and recommend appropriate solutions for business needs.

Qualifications:

• ​Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in AI, Machine Learning, Computer Science, or a related field.

• 7+ years of hands-on experience in AI and machine learning, with at least 3 years in a consulting capacity.

• Excellent communication skills to interact with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

• Industry knowledge in sectors such as healthcare, finance, or retail where AI is heavily adopted.

• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business requirements into AI solutions.

• Proven experience in evaluating and implementing AI technologies, working with vendors, and managing complex projects.

• Deep understanding of AI models, algorithms, and frameworks (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

• Familiarity with cloud-based AI platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) and their AI offerings.

• Experience with data engineering and building data pipelines for AI projects.

• Strong understanding of data governance, security, and compliance considerations related to AI implementations.

• Experience with Natural Language Processing (NLP), Computer Vision, or other advanced AI domains.
